At National CARES, our culturally anchored and trained volunteer army of mentors and Affiliate leaders prove how mentoring saves lives every day.

Our Results
With support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and after a three-year demonstration period, we were able to execute a year-long independent evaluation to determine the effectiveness of our program, The Rising: Elevating Education, Expectations and Self- Esteem.
