Start a CARES Mentor-Recruitment Circle

CARES Mentor-Recruitment Circles are local coalitions of leaders and everyday people who love and believe in our children and know that the status quo must be changed. Local CARES Mentor-Recruitment Circles recruit the volunteers needed in their community to ensure that every child who needs a mentor is paired with a caring adult who wants to help a youngster succeed. The local CARES Mentor-Recruitment Circle brings leaders from all segments of the community—religious, business, fraternal, collegiate together to encourage and prod their constituents to devote four hours a month to at-risk young people in the community.

CARES Mentor-Recruitment Circles are the models of the cooperative, visionary leadership needed to transform our community and country. Wherever our children are suffering and losing ground, the National CARES Mentoring Movement seeks to establish a CARES Mentor-Recruitment Circle.
